A Moment in Time, Weald Contemporary, Arundel, Feb- March 2024

These paintings are all based on my time at the Mawddach Residency, Eryri, in July 2023. I was out of my usual routine and spent the days walking, swimming, and exploring but kept returning to the studio window view as my subject matter. The way that a window frames and contains the world strongly appeals to me. A structure to contain the vastness of the sky beyond.
